Loneliness, Grief and Loss
Loneliness, Grief and Loss is very much what we all go through in our lives. We often can feel alone and can not feel a connection with others. We may know people for our whole lives but still very disconnected from them. As we get older, this disconnection can manifest in our behaviors, drawing people even further away from us.
Massive changes in life can cause loneliness. Or friends or family you used to have in your life may move on leaving you feeling alone. Or if you move house or area and feel overwhelmed by making new friends, feeling the anxiety to fit in with new people around you.
Loneliness can be associated with insecurity and fear of rejection, stopping the person from opening up to others. Loneliness is a feeling that we all can experience sometime in our lives. But these feeling do not have to run our lives and stop us from having amazing and rewarding relationships with other people.
Being comfortable with the inner true self
Clinical Hypnotherapy is very effective in tapping into the true self and unconscious programs that may be running our behaviors within our shadow self. Once we safely move through these beliefs, we can then re-evaluate them and reframe them into something relevant. By bringing your awareness into the present, we are then able to create healthy beliefs from past illusory beliefs. To access the true self with confidence and clarity, we need to feel secure so we can then bring this inner self out into the world. In effect, our outside experiences are a reflection of the inability to courageously express our inner self with society and others. Once beliefs are reframed in line with our inner truth, we can then follow through with feelings we choose to feel.
The subconscious mind is very protective so what we need to do is assure your subconscious mind that you are safe to explore rewarding relationships and experiences with others in a positive way.
Do you suffer from Mental Illness or Depression?
Often these symptoms will be treated with drugs prescribed by a doctor. Anti-depressants, sleep medication, and perhaps a diet or stop smoking program will be prescribed. It’s a good idea to see a doctor first before seeing a Hypnotherapist.
With duty of care for my clients, I need to ask before we proceed with a session. I am not able to facilitate Hypnotherapy if you have a mental illness such Schizophrenia or Bipolar. If you are on Depression medication, you will need to get a doctors referral first before the session and bring the referral to the session.
