Resentment keeps us tethered to the external world, replaying past injustices and unconsciously handing our peace over to people, events, or systems we cannot control. This is never the destination of healing. Healing does not lead us toward bitterness or blame. True healing leads toward freedom.

Peace is not the absence of emotion; it is the presence of inner alignment. It is the felt sense that we are no longer at war with reality, nor with ourselves.
