What does Hypnotherapy for Motivation do?
Hypnotherapy for Motivation in Sydney is an effective way to get in the zone. Motivation is something we strive for in our lives in order to get things done. It may be motivation for a career or to build and create something. Whatever it is, sometimes we can get stuck.
Motivation is about having a deep inner experience within our inner mind through visualisation and hypnotic introspection, illustrating to the subconscious mind what we want and need, allowing it to find the resources for manifestation. The subconscious resourceful states are the mechanics that create the motivation itself. All we need to do is create what we what as vividly as we can creatively and the subconscious mind will help us achieve what we want.
Through visualisation, emotional states and suggestions therapy in trance work, the practitioner will help you create a tapestry of colour, sound and language that will positively influence the deep inner world of your inner mind. This will encourage all your resourceful tools within your mind to become enthusiastic about doing the things you need to do to make your dreams become your reality.
The dance between the Conscious and Unconscious mind
The conscious wilful creative minds role is to inspire the inner world of the unconscious mind where all our memories, feelings and beliefs from our past exist. The conscious mind helps ‘paint the picture’ of how beneficial our wants and needs mean to us, and received by the unconscious mind.
As the conscious and unconscious mind share the deep meaning of what we want, it reframes how important our dreams are to us, making it stronger and more vivid to us. As it integrates into the conscious awareness in a stronger and powerful way, this is how motivation kicks into reality. Procrastination is eliminated because we now have a stronger, reframed and inspiring reminder of how important our desires are to us. The questions are, “What do our goals mean to us” and “What are our deepest values, priorities and meaning in life?”
Having a deep connection to our life purpose can re-establish that motivation we’re striving for. Motivation isn’t something we seek, but rather being in a meaning state or experience. Once we access what inspires us, we can deeply feel what we want, and what it means to us deep within our mind and body. We have to feel it deeply in our body in order to deeply ‘know it’.
As we begin to feel that state deeply, we can then work on maintaining that ‘passion’ that makes us who we are. Self-identity, NLP, suggestion and timeline therapy is used to process these new states into manifestation. Motivation is also about diet, exercise, and changing old habits with new habits. It could mean changing your lifestyle, environment, and home space for inspiration. At a ‘Meta’ ecological level, all aspects need to be acknowledged.
Whats is the ‘Golden Shadow’?
We may have experienced trauma in the past that’s created a belief that has seeded a state within our deep unconscious mind. Lack of motivation can be created when we dissociate from our deep inner passions within us because we may feel we may not be worthy of success or abundance. The first step is about clearing any limiting beliefs and letting go of things that limit us. Tapping into our deep unconscious mind known as the ‘Dark Shadow’, we may discover aspects of ourselves we have not acknowledged. These are aspects of ourselves we are afraid of exploring and push deep within our unconscious mind. When we explore these aspects, we may discover talents and learnings that can be transformed into what we call the ‘Golden Shadow’. The ‘Golden Shadow’ is the re-integration of hidden aspects of the self, integrated into the conscious awareness as wisdom.

Hypnotherapy for Performance Enhancement can be a powerful way to free ourselves from limiting beliefs we believe serve us but do not. Sometimes when we have limiting beliefs surrounding childhood and traumatic experiences, we subconsciously self sabotage ourselves into believing we are not good enough to achieve our goals. In these cases, we may believe that if we perform well and achieve our goals, we may loose something we have gained in the past when failing to perform well. This is called ‘Secondary Gain’. We sometime avoid our achievements because the failure itself is giving us something we have taught ourselves is beneficial. It may be attention or that we just feel good identifying as a victim for attention of others. This is associated with self esteem and identity. Hypnotherapy for Motivation can help reframe the things we identify with allowing a whole new perspective on how we see ourselves in the world.
Do you suffer from Mental Illness or Depression?
Often these symptoms will be treated with drugs prescribed by a doctor. Anti-depressants, sleep medication, and perhaps a diet or stop smoking program will be prescribed. It’s a good idea to see a doctor first before seeing a Hypnotherapist.
For the duty of care for my clients, I need to screen potential clients for mental illness before we proceed with a session. I am not able to facilitate Hypnotherapy, Counselling, or Reiki if you have a mental illness such as Schizophrenia or Bipolar or any other diagnosed mental illness by your Doctor, Specialist, or Psychiatrist.
If you are on Anxiety or Depression medication, you will need to get a doctor’s referral first before the session and bring the referral to the session. Not all people on medications and a referral can start the therapy. There will be a screening process before we proceed.
