Past Life Regression

Has trauma affected your ability to enjoy life?

Hypnotherapy for Trauma Central Coast and Sydney can be an effective way to healing childhood trauma, panic attacks, PTSD and physical or emotional abuse. Stress and PTSD are the responses from our protective human unconscious mind. When we are threatened or feel danger, the part of our fight or flight protective brain kicks in. This is the most primitive part of our brain that is responsible for self-preservation and instinctual responses.

When we develop the higher reasoning part of our mind, we’re then able to overcome primitive responses that negatively control our lives. Our human higher mind is responsible for problem-solving. The use of the Cerebellum, Limbic, and Cerebrum brains all need to work in harmony so trauma can then be overcome.

Trauma therapy can be overwhelming

Courage is essential for healing

Hypnotherapy for Trauma Central Coast can be daunting when seeking therapy. And it’s understandable if you’re hesitant. You are just protecting yourself. With our professional approach, you will feel safe throughout the healing journey. Anytime we experience something new, it can feel uncomfortable in the beginning.

Building a healthy and trusting rapport with the therapist will make your healing journey comfortable. With hypnotherapy, it’s important to begin very slowly. The therapist will guide you through the process of courage and surrender. In trance and hypnotic dialog, the therapist will help you reframe your traumas and integrate a healing space of peace and harmony.

Limiting belief systems

Hypnotherapy for Trauma, Stress, and PTSD is an effective way to change your response to stress. Moving the client to that initial stress response and working through reframing the experience is how we overcome the feeling state. Once we change our beliefs, we can change patterns of behavior and how we choose to feel. The subconscious mind is our protector. In therapy, we can ask the subconscious mind to find new ways to comfort and protect us, or even stop protecting us with such intensity.

Several treatments are available for Stress, and PTSD. Hypnotherapy can be used with therapies such as Psychology, Counselling, and Psychiatry. But always consult your doctor and ask if Hypnotherapy is safe to experience with other treatments and medications. There are many self-help relaxation techniques but until you go to the cause of the problem, the feelings associated with the trauma may return. This is where Clinical Hypnotherapy can help.

Childhood Trauma

The past

Traumatic events from the past are usually unresolved stress experienced in the present moment. Trauma may be associated with childhood experiences that shape the map of our world and how we see ourselves. We often store these experiences within the unconscious mind, hoping that we can resolve these issues at a later day. Sometimes we never get to that important day.

When healing, revisiting past stress allows the processing of that stress to take place. The healing process involves desensitizing the effects it has on us. Once healed,  a sense of relief will come over you. When we mature and grow up, we can still be triggered by things that make us feel unsafe, abandoned, or uncomfortable. This can affect our relationships and our ability to enjoy life’s adventures.

Stress is a normal response because it prepares the mind and body to respond to the environment. In extreme cases, stress can be experienced over a long period, negatively influencing our mind and body. It can cause extreme illness in our bodies and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Quality sleep, exercise, relaxation, deep breathing, healthy eating, yoga, meditation, and Reiki Healing can be used with Hypnotherapy to help heal Traumatic triggers.

Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder

Triggered traumas

All human beings have been through some form of stress. Sometimes it stems from Childhood or an event in adult years. In a relationship, a person may experience emotional and physical abuse which can disempower us. If the stress has not been properly attended to, the reinforcements over time can permanently scar an individual.

This can cause difficult challenges in relationships, work life, and family dynamics. If Trauma is unchecked, any triggers can bring on panic attacks, flashbacks, and distress to a person. This is referred to as ‘Post Traumatic Stress Disorder’. Awareness Healing will help you desensitize these triggers, and resolve the causes. Deep trance work allows the patient to feel a sense of relief and peace.

Panic Attacks

Panic attacks can be triggered by a traumatic event from our past. When we’re triggered, the unconscious mind defends the person from any threats, which brings on the panic attack. Panic attacks can also be associated with unchecked stress which can develop as Post Traumatic Stress Disorder. Stress can become so extreme that a person’s ability to live a normal life can be compromised. EMDR Therapy is very effective for treating these attacks of discomfort.
